Inside the Hobgoblin Sound: Jamvvis Talks Junglist Roots, DJ Life & Production

By

Jamvvis began making music at 12 using a PlayStation 2 music generator, later transitioning to FL Studio in 2010. He initially rooted himself in hip hop, but over time found a deeper connection in electronic music, specifically jungle, drawing heavily from his Jamaican background.

His musical evolution was on full display during his Boiler Room performance, where a scheduled one-hour set turned into two in front of 4,000 people. His Green Goblin inspired persona further defines this era, serving as a visual extension of his darker, more chaotic electronic sound.

His upcoming album, Harry Osborn, just dropped on January 16th, blending jungle, dub bass and four-on-the-floor rhythms with Jamaican influences.
